General Information
The race track is located in Chinnery Park (Port Augusta Westside Oval). Car parking is available inside and outside the grounds. There are no camping facilities for travelling trainers but kennels are available for greyhounds. The track has a grass surface and a Bramich lure system. Bookmaker in attendance but there is no tote facilities. There are no video replays of races

Race Day
Saturday Afternoon Meetings. (first race 1.00pm)  Night racing is conducted during summer months (Nov - Apr). (first race 7.10pm)   A meeting is also held on Anzac Day.

Kennelling Time
Greyhounds must be kennelled no later than 30 min before first race. The kennel block is airconditioned

Scratchings

The scratchings for all SA meetings are to be made with GRSA. Daily scratchings including non-TAB’s are accessible on the recorded service.

Scratching times -:

TAB: Day meetings     – 4.00pm on the day prior to the meeting.

            Night meetings  – 9.00am on the day of the meeting.

Non-TAB: All meetings - 4.00pm on the day prior to the meeting. (excepting Port Pirie Friday Nights which close 9.00am on day of meeting).

Trials
Public trials are conducted on Sunday mornings at 8.30am and Tuesday evenings when required at 5.00pm, (6.00pm daylight saving).  Half field and solo trials are conducted over all distances and are into the pen or onto the arm.

Bar facilities, kiosk and B.B.Q. are available
